The artist walks through the corridors of Venetian palaces in a dress tied together by a single thread. As she moves, the fabric gradually unravels and fills the space around her. The title of the performance changes each time depending on the length of the thread from which the dress was sewn. The thread is a symbol of the length and finiteness of life. It’s also a symbol of what one leaves behind and the metaphorical embodiment of one’s ability to transform the space around. Only by getting rid of the old, it is possible to come closer to something new.
